Faye Dunaway shows off sophisticated chic style.
The 83-year-old actress was spotted out and about in New York City on Monday, July 8, wearing a tailored black suit and a white button-down shirt with gold detailing on the collar. She kept the look casual with pearl earrings and black sneakers as accessories, and her trademark blonde hair was styled in soft curls.
Dunaway was all smiles as she greeted fans and signed autographs.
The New York performance came just weeks after the Oscar winner made a rare red carpet appearance at the Cannes Film Festival. Dunaway Furiosa: The Mad Max Saga On May 15, she gave birth to baby Oliver, along with her son Liam Dunaway O’Neal with partner Mackynzie Ross.

The actress’ documentary ” Faye The film, directed by Laurent Bouzereau, also premiered at the festival, becoming the first feature-length documentary about Dunaway. Following its world premiere in Cannes, Faye The series will premiere on HBO on Saturday, July 13th and will be available to stream on Max.
“Through these flashbacks, she bravely explores personal discoveries including her struggles with mental health and bipolar disorder, her family history and how the intensity of her roles has impacted her today,” the synopsis reads.

According to Page Six, in the film, Dunaway talks about her bipolar diagnosis: “I worked with a team of doctors who analyzed my behavior and prescribed me medication that they thought would help me, and that helped.”
“So I’ve been quiet, but we all know there have been tough times throughout my career,” she told the outlet. “I’m not making excuses. I still take responsibility for my actions.”
“But I realized this is what it is, it’s something I need to know about, and I need to try to do the right thing to address it,” she continues.

“Thankfully, there are medications, research and doctors who can help me deal with this issue, which I’ve benefited from. The medication is crucial, and without it, psychologically and biologically, I would revert to the way I was,” she said.
In a Q&A posted on the Cannes Film Festival website, Bouzereau, who is friends with Dunaway’s son Liam, said that Dunaway was initially “stressed” about making the movie.
“Faye is used to acting from a script. But this was real life – there was no script, there was no rehearsal, and she found the process very stressful. I thought it was very brave of her to do this,” the director says.
“She started to trust us. I think at the end, she was very happy. It was cathartic for her because she was able to talk about all the things she had never talked about before,” he added.
