CNN — WASHINGTON (CNN) — The Federal Communications Commission is taking the first steps toward new rules that could require political ads on TV and radio to include disclaimers about the use of artificial intelligence.
Amid growing concerns that AI-generated deepfakes could disrupt the election, FCC Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel on Wednesday called on her fellow agency commissioners to support such restrictions.
