RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – ) The Capital City Rodeo (CCR) kicks off with a bang on Friday, August 2 and Saturday, August 3. The event promises to be a weekend packed with thrilling activities and entertainment.
CCR owner Bailey Sanchez stopped by Morning Break to talk about how this rodeo is different from most rodeos around the country.
Rodeo enthusiasts can look forward to events such as Bulls, Broncos and Extreme Broncos. Eight-time X-Games medalist and Nitro Circus athlete Adam Jones will headline the FMX Ramp Age Freestyle Motocross Show and Ramp Revival event. Custom bike enthusiasts can compete in a friendly competition where attendees can win $10,000 and experience Choppers Magazine. The Carson City Tattoo Show will also be held, bringing talented artists from Nevada and neighboring states to show off their unique styles and offer live tattoo sessions during the two-day rodeo.
Held at the Fuji Fairgrounds in Carson City, this year’s event will feature an exciting lineup of rodeo scenes, action-packed freestyle motocross, local vendors and amazing tattoo art.
