Another offensive weapon from the 2025 freshman class has committed to join Texas Tech University’s football team.
The Red Raiders received the commitment of Frisco Lone Star wide receiver Bryson Jones on Monday night. Jones becomes the second player to commit to Tech earlier this week, joining Lago Vista defensive back Swade Griffin, who committed earlier the same day.
Jones is rated a four-star overall player by 247Sports and is listed as 6’1″ tall and 175 pounds. On his social media profile on Twitter (formerly known as X), he lists himself as 6’3″ tall and 180 pounds. The team announced its 10 finalists in April, which included Texas A&M, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma State and Baylor.
Jones caught 64 passes for 1,092 yards and 15 touchdowns during his junior season. He becomes the 15th member of the Class of 2025 recruits to commit to Texas Tech.
