Weapons and explosives recovered; slain outlaws involved in terrorist activities in the area
PANJGUR:
Security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Panjgur district and killed four terrorists belonging to an “Indian proxy group”, the Inter-Services Public Relations said.
According to the ISPR statement, security personnel engaged the location during the operation and an exchange of fire took place, resulting in the killing of four outlaws. The ISPR said weapons, ammunition and explosives were recovered, adding that the slain terrorists were “involved in terrorist activities in the area”.

The military’s media wing further stated that sanitisation operations were underway in the vicinity.
The operation, it said, forms part of the ongoing counterterrorism drive under “Azm-e-Istehkam”, approved by the federal apex committee on the National Action Plan.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the role of security personnel involved in the Panjgur operation and expressed support for continued action against what he termed terrorist networks and their facilitators. Naqvi said the government and security agencies would continue such efforts alongside public support.
