Georgia Tech coach Damon Stoudemire plans to wait one more year before one of his 2024-signed players steps on campus, and that player will wait one more year before officially becoming a member of the Yellow Jackets.

Cole Kirouac, a 6-foot-10 center who played at Brewster Academy in New Hampshire in 2023-24, will enroll with Overtime Elite in Atlanta in 2024-25, OTE announced Sunday. Kirouac signed with Stoudemire and Tech in November.

“I don’t want to underestimate his ability, but he’s still got a lot of time to play his best basketball,” Stoudemire said in a November release. “With the style of play we have, offensively he’s going to be really good. Defensively, he can block shots and defend really well. The most important thing for us and for Cole is to get him even stronger.”

Kirouac is still verbally committed to Tech University. The three-star prospect, according to the 247Sports Composite, is originally from Cumming and played at North Forsyth before transferring to Brewster.

According to his MaxPreps profile, Kirouac appeared in 31 games last season, logging just under 13 minutes of playing time per game and averaging 2.7 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. Kirouac is playing for the Atlanta Express AAU team this summer.

Kirouac was part of a four-player 2024 signing class that included Overtime Elite’s Jaden Mustaph and Darrion Sutton and Dallas, Texas’ Dorian Onwuchekwa. Kirouac is now part of a 2025 recruiting class that also includes guard Akay Fleming (OTE) and forward Brandon Stores (NYC).
