Following the lead of the Sindh government, the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governments have announced plans to pay advance salaries to public sector employees in anticipation of Eid ul-Fitr.

In Punjab, the Finance Department has announced that government employees will receive their salaries ahead of schedule, with payments set to be made on March 26. The notification for the early salary release has already been issued, and the Secretary of Finance has sent it to the relevant departments.

Meanwhile, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has also decided to release the April salaries early due to Eid celebrations. According to the issued statement, all Muslim public employees will receive their March salaries by March 20, instead of the usual April 1 date. Additionally, pension payments for retired government employees will also be made on March 20.

Earlier, the Sindh government had issued a similar notification, confirming that employees in the province would receive their advance salaries on March 21.

These early salary disbursements aim to help employees manage their expenses during the festive season.
