GVMC Standing Committee Polls: GVMC Standing Committee Elections on August 7 | Visakhapatnam News

Visakhapatnam: The Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) on Monday issued a notification to hold elections for standing committee members on August 7. District Secretary and GVMC Commissioner-in-charge MN Harendira Prasad said the election notification has been issued to elect new standing committee members as the term of the current standing committee members of GVMC has ended. “Nomination forms will be available at the GVMC secretariat during office hours. Nominations will be accepted at the office of the Additional Commissioner (General) from July 22 to 30,” the district secretary said. The list of all the nominations received will be published on July 30. Scrutiny of the nominations will take place on July 31.
