CONWAY, S.C. (WMBF) – The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers will make their virtual gridiron debut in the newly released “EA Sports College Football 25” video game.
The title, the first college football game in more than a decade, launched on Monday for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S as part of early access.
Here’s what fans can expect as they root for the Chanticleers.
Main menu
If you select Coastal Carolina as your favorite team, the game’s menu will display the Chanticleer logo, mascots Chauncey and Maddox, and pictures of running back Braydon Bennett.

The Chanticleers also have plenty of uniform options to pair with games, including “throwback” helmets that debuted in 2021.
Brooks Stadium
The Chants’ famous blue-green turf will also be featured in a video game for the first time, and the Myrtle Beach Bowl will also be playable in the new game.
Who is the highest rated player?
The highlight of Coastal’s roster is cornerback Matthew McDoom, who is Chanticleer’s highest-rated prospect at 88th overall.
