Soni is specialized in Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Reporting Services (SSRS), Analysis Services (SSAS) and Power BI. He leverages these tools to create unique solutions that enhance operational efficiency, revenue growth and competitive advantage across various industries. Soni’s impact spans across various industries including finance, insurance, aviation, healthcare, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals and banking.
Soni began his career in the IT industry as a Business Intelligence leader. He was responsible for designing data models that supported the analytical and reporting needs of the organization. This process included understanding the business requirements, identifying data sources, and creating efficient data structures. Soni designed multiple ETL processes to extract data from various sources and modify it to suit the operational needs. This data was then loaded into Data Warehouses and Data Marts.
Supporting and maintaining the entire Business Intelligence backend required Soni to handle data loading processes and optimize query performance to ensure timely and efficient access to data for reporting and analytics. He also led a team of BI developers and analysts to align their efforts with business goals. Currently, Soni serves as the BI lead for the Healthcare Finance department and has designed the Healthcare MMIS system data model and data warehouse for institution-wide reporting. He also acts as a PowerBI and SQL trainer, sharing his knowledge on current projects with a team of 25+ employees.
