Ranaut, a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Mandi, said if neighboring countries do not wear bangles, India will make them wear bangles.
Recently, National Conference President Farooq Abdullah reacted to Defense Minister Rajnath Singh’s statement that India will never give up its claims to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Abdullah dared Rajnath Singh to take back Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, adding, “They (Pakistan) are not wearing bangles either.” Earlier, an old video of Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar went viral on the internet last week. The actor-turned-politician also said India does not want an unstable and “weak parliamentary government” led by a “scared prime minister”.
He also said Prime Minister Modi will not allow tampering with the constitution or reservations based on religion.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also said on Monday that India would force cash-strapped Pakistan to wear bangles if it did not already do so.
“Pakistan, ne chodiyan nahi peni hain, bhai pena denge. Ab unko atta bi chahie, unke pass bijri bi nahi hai, abu humin maloom nahi ki.
