Ranaut, a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Mandi, said if neighboring countries do not wear bangles, India will make them wear bangles.
Recently, National Conference President Farooq Abdullah reacted to Defense Minister Rajnath Singh’s statement that India will never give up its claims to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Abdullah dared Rajnath Singh to take back Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, adding, “They (Pakistan) are not wearing bangles either.” Earlier, an old video of Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar went viral on the internet last week. In it, the Congress veteran appealed to the Indian government to “respect Pakistan” because it possesses an atomic bomb.
At a poll rally in Kullu, Ranaut reacted to remarks by opposition leaders, saying, “I know Pakistan needs atta (flour) and electricity. But I didn’t know it didn’t even have bangles.” Ta.

The actor-turned-politician also said India does not want an unstable and “weak parliamentary government” led by a “scared prime minister”.
He also said Prime Minister Modi will not allow tampering with the constitution or reservations based on religion.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also said on Monday that India would force cash-strapped Pakistan to wear bangles if it did not already do so.
“Pakistan, ne chodiyan nahi peni hain, bhai pena denge. Ab unko atta bi chahie, unke pass bijri bi nahi hai, abu humin maloom nahi ki. Unke paas chodyan bi nahi hai (If Pakistan doesn’t wear bangles, we will make them wear bangles.) They don’t have flour, they don’t have electricity, they don’t even have bangles. I have now come to know that there are many people in the country,” PM Modi said in Muzaffarpur, Bihar.
