MOURI Tech, an Irving-based IT services provider to global enterprises, has acquired Versant Systems PTE LTD, a Singapore-based IT services company, a strategic move that marks a key milestone in MOURI Tech’s expansion strategy.

The company said the acquisition will strengthen its presence in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, enabling it to meet the growing demand from customers around the world.

“This acquisition is a testament to our commitment to growth and global expansion,” Anil Yelamreddy, global CEO of MOURI Tech, said in a statement.

Adding Versant’s expertise in the manufacturing and logistics sectors to MOURI Tech’s portfolio will put the company “in an optimal position to provide enhanced services and solutions to customers across the globe,” Yellamreddy added.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Aiming to expand R&D in Singapore

Versant Systems CEO Sasidhar Bandi said the deal presents significant opportunities “particularly in expanding our research and development capabilities.”

Bundy said synergies within the combined company will “accelerate our growth and deliver even greater value to our customers and stakeholders.”

Benefits of trading

The acquisition will provide Versant Systems with access to MOURI Tech’s Center of Excellence, allowing it to leverage best practices and innovative solutions. The acquisition will enable both companies to benefit from cost arbitrage in a changing global market environment, giving them a competitive advantage in the industry, the companies said.

Founded in 2005, MOURI Tech says it delivers innovative solutions and an unwavering commitment to customer success.

The company’s portfolio includes digital transformation, intelligent ERP, cloud security and automation, and aims to deliver valuable outcomes to a wide range of industries, including Fortune 500 companies.
