Three of Ivanka’s siblings – Tiffany, Eric and Donald Trump Jr. – made appearances at the convention throughout the week, but Ivanka was conspicuously absent, having previously claimed she wanted to stay away from politics.
“she said [Donald] “When he said he was running again, she said she didn’t want anything to do with it,” a source told People magazine in March.
Ivanka and Jared were senior advisers in the Trump administration, but since leaving the White House in 2021, Ivanka has not appeared at any of Trump’s political events.

Just days before attending the Republican National Convention, Ivanka spoke out about the July 13 assassination attempt on her father.
“I thank you all for your love and prayers for my father and the victims of the senseless violence that occurred today in Butler, PA,” she wrote on Instagram. “I thank the Secret Service and all other law enforcement officers for their swift and decisive action today. I will continue to pray for our country.”
“Dad, we love you now and always will,” the statement continues.

Eric was the first to acknowledge that Ivanka and Melania would be attending the convention. CBS Morning Wednesday, July 17th.
“They’re coming in full force and they’ll definitely be here. Ivanka has been a great supporter of my father,” he said, claiming that “there’s no closer family in the history of politics.”
Ivanka and Melania Trump spoke at the Republican National Convention in 2016 and 2020, respectively, but were not included in this year’s speaker lineup.
