I’ve always hated orange, but this summer’s kitchen trends are convincing me.

I’ll be honest, orange is my least favorite color. But everywhere I look I see shades, tones, and hues of orange. From fiery orange to soft peach, Pantone seems to have had a thing for orange in their predictions, especially this summer. Kitchenware is no exception.

It’s hard to admit, but the new, just-released products from brands like Yeti, Le Creuset, Baggu, and Hearth & Hand with Magnolia are slowly winning me over with their orange-inspired designs. So much so that some (or maybe all) of the new products below are now in my shopping cart, and they’re perfect for those hot, warm, sunny summer days. Shop these trendy new products starting at just $3 to see if they’ll work perfectly in your kitchen or backyard space, too.

Orange and peach summer new releases

  • Magnolia Poppy Salad Plate by Hearth & Hand, $3 at target.com
  • Yeti King Crab Roadie 24 Hard Cooler, $250 at yeti.com
  • Le Creuset Peche Round Dutch Oven, from $420 at lecreuset.com
  • Anthropologie Solar Cage Outdoor Lantern, $22 at anthropologie.com
  • Baggu Tangerine Stripe Standard Bag, $14 on baggu.com
  • Nespresso Vertuo Pop+ Pantone Mandarin Orange, $140 at nespresso.com
  • Anthropologie Mischa Indoor/Outdoor Pillow, $68 on anthropologie.com
  • Magnolia Border Check Woven Throw Blanket by Hearth & Hand, $30 at target.com

Hearth & Hand and Magnolia Poppy Salad Plate

the goal

We love the simple yet effective design of this new plate from Hearth & Hand with Magnolia. There are poppy-inlaid pieces sprinkled throughout the summer collection, including these glasses and this can and bottle cooler. But we love this salad plate the most. Stack it on top of the dinner plate for a fun pop of color. The poppy-orange base is visible around the rim of this lightweight melamine plate. We love that it’s suitable for the outdoors, yet can be easily washed in the dishwasher. You can also buy new dinner plates in the same design.

Yeti King Crab Roadie 24 Hard Cooler

Yeti

Yeti brought back this bright king crab orange color earlier this year, which is just the right way to celebrate the East Coast summers that I’ve always loved and look forward to. And what better place to store beach beers, homemade cocktails, sandwiches, and more than in the orange-tinted Roadie Cooler? This 24 model is perfect for day trips to the beach, as it can hold up to 33 cans at a time. This leaves plenty of room for a variety of snacks and meals, as well as ice and ice packs. With thick insulated walls, a latching lid, and sturdy handles, this cooler is built for everyday beach trips.

Le Creuset Pech Round Dutch Oven

Le Creuset

This new product is perfect for this year’s color of the year thanks to its peach hue. All of Pesh’s products are super cute, but you can’t go wrong with a Dutch oven. Not only is it a truly versatile cookware, but the color also looks great. Its peach-rose gradient is perfect for adding a muted orange hue to your space. This color is available in 5.5 and 7.25 quart sizes, and you also get all the other benefits of the popular Dutch oven on the market, including durability and heat retention.

Anthropologie Solar Cage Outdoor Lantern

Anthropologie

I’m lucky enough to have an outdoor space now and I love sitting out there watching the summer sunsets, but I really need some lighting, so I love the idea of putting a few of these new solar lanterns outside. They’re a nice orange color and I think they’ll complement the warm glow of the light bulbs. I also love that they’re completely solar powered, so I don’t have to worry about batteries at all. Another plus is that they’re small, about 5 x 5 inches, so they work well in tight spaces.

Baggu Tangerine Stripe Standard Baggu

Bagu

I never go anywhere without a few Baggu bags in my purse. These bags are designed for almost any use, but are especially handy for impromptu farmer’s market or grocery runs. They fold up to almost nothing, making them easy to clean whenever needed. The brand recently launched their standard bags in fun, wide-striped tangerine and peach colorways that are right on trend.

Nespresso Vertuo Pop+ Pantone Mandarin Orange

Nespresso

Nespresso collaborated with none other than Pantone to come up with this mandarin shade that is part of their new limited edition summer collection. This color is splashed across a few things, but in my opinion, this Pop+ machine is the cutest. It has an orange stripe on the top and a cream base color on the bottom. Not only that, but it’s the perfect choice for anyone wanting to explore the world of Nespresso. It brews five different options including single or double shot espresso, 5 oz cup, 8 oz cup, and 12 oz cup of coffee. All this in a tiny frame that measures just 8.6 x 14 x 10.4 inches.

Anthropologie Missha Indoor/Outdoor Pillow

Anthropologie

I love that this pillow is all orange but not too loud (BTW, Anthropologie also has this option, which is brighter). There are hints of bright orange in the yarn, and I love the contrast in texture with the pink stripes. It can be used indoors or outdoors and is 20″ x 20″, so it fits beautifully on a deck chair and not only adds a splash of color, but it’s super comfortable.

Hearth & Hand Magnolia Border Check Woven Throw Blanket

the goal

Another great way to incorporate orange is this new throw from Hearth & Hand by Magnolia. It has a pale peach base color with orange stripes as accents throughout. I love the muted colors in the bulk of the blanket, with accents of darker hues. It’s a great throw that can be used both indoors and outdoors, although we see it get used more often outdoors. It’s machine washable, so you don’t have to worry about it getting dirty.
