The multi-talented star also spoke about her own experiences and how she felt exploited, recalling the time when a particular advert selling skincare used a photoshopped image of her with a “wrinkled” face.

“I think the film[Atlas]does a great job of illustrating how AI can go really, really wrong, and also how it can go really, really right,” she told Variety at the film’s premiere.

She added, “It’s really scary. They stole our faces right away. So, [AI] “AI is really scary. I think we should respect AI… We have to be open to all possibilities. These movies that talk about AI, and this one in particular, portray both sides very well.”

About the movie “Atlas”

In this sci-fi action movie directed by Brad Peyton, Jennifer plays the protagonist, a data analyst who must turn to AI to save the Earth from evil robots (essayed by Simu Liu).

Atlas’s official logline reads, “Atlas Shepard (Jennifer Lopez), a brilliant but misanthropic data analyst with a deep distrust for artificial intelligence, joins a mission to capture a renegade robot with whom she shares a mysterious past.” The film also stars Sterling K. Brown. Following its release, the film ranked in the streamer’s top 10 most-watched movies throughout Memorial Day weekend.
