Jennifer Lopez opted for a bike ride through the Hamptons to join in on the overalls trend cycle on Tuesday, July 16, which marked her two-year wedding anniversary with husband Ben Affleck. Her unconventional relaxed outfit consisted of paint-splattered overalls by Ralph Lauren and leather flip-flops by Ralph Lauren.

Jennifer Fisher silver hoop earrings were Lopez’s only accessory (not counting her designer bike and Linus’ farmers market basket), but it was a very down-to-earth look for the multi-platinum singer and world-famous actor.

Jennifer Lopez spent early to mid-July in the East, shopping for summer clothes with her stepdaughter Violet Affleck and walking the sidewalks of Sag Harbor in knitted Ralph Lauren sweaters, loose jumpsuits, maxi dresses and wedge sandals. Over the weekend, she showed off her extravagant, sporty side again by going for a bike ride in a Chanel T-shirt and flip-flops.
The Hamptons event marks Lopez’s second solo trip in a month; during a trip to Italy in June, she conquered the Riviera in a breezy matching dress and Dior bag. (Lopez and husband Ben Affleck are reportedly “spending time apart” despite celebrating their wedding anniversary and “focusing on their loved ones.”)
A few days earlier, Lopez had shown off a more upscale cycling look, cycling around town in a Chanel T-shirt and micro shorts.

Lopez’s paint-splattered overalls fit the easy, “me time” vibe of her Hamptons wardrobe, while also fitting into a popular celebrity trend that’s seen everyone from Hailey Bieber (teamed with a strawberry red t-shirt) to Kendall Jenner (in all-white overalls) to Sarah Jessica Parker (dressed up in crystal pumps).
The appeal is clear: it’s a wear-all-day, put-on-and-done outfit. Nothing symbolizes a month of rest and relaxation in the Hamptons more than a pair of loose-fitting coveralls. But knowing J.Lo, it probably won’t be long before she’s donning a designer bag and sky-high heels again—though maybe not on the back of a bike.
