Fifty-five career and technical education (CTE) superstars from Albany High School were inducted into the National Technology Honor Society on Wednesday.
The National Technical Honor Society is a national organization that celebrates the achievements of outstanding CTE students, provides $300,000 in annual scholarships, and helps connect education and industry to build a highly skilled workforce. It is a non-profit organization.
Students are eligible if they have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher, focus on a CTE pathway or major, have one or more faculty recommendations, and participate in work-based learning, job shadowing, or internship opportunities. You can qualify for membership.
This year’s group of Hall of Famers includes CTE pathways represented in automotive, construction, culinary arts, health sciences, and pre-engineering.
