(KRON) — There are a ton of fast food restaurants across the country, and a lot of them serve fried chicken. While it may not be as common a fast food as a hamburger, there are plenty of major chains that serve one of America’s most beloved comfort foods.
On Wednesday, USA Today 10Best compiled a list of the 10 best fried chicken joints from U.S. fast-food chains.
According to USA Today, Jollibee, the popular Filipino chain with locations throughout the Bay Area, has taken the top spot among U.S. chains that serve fried chicken. It was named the No. 1 fried chicken place by the editors of USA Today.
“A huge thank you to our fans! Thanks to you, USA Today @10Best named our ChickenJoy the best fast food fried chicken!,” Jollibee wrote in an Instagram post on Wednesday.
According to USA Today, Jollibee is the world’s largest and fastest-growing Asian restaurant company. The company is best known for its signature fried chicken, ChickenJoy.
“Order it by the bucket or with a side, and don’t forget to dip it in the silky gravy,” USA Today writes.
Jollibee opened its first US restaurant in Daily City in 1998. The fast food chain was founded in the Philippines in 1978 and has since expanded to more than 1,400 locations worldwide.
