I’ve seen enough America’s Next Top Model When you’re attending a casting, you want to dress simply, understated, yet cool and with a touch of personality, which is exactly the look that supermodel and budding actress Kaia Gerber chose for a recent casting (this time for an acting role). Spotted outside the Culver City casting office this week, Gerber teamed a cropped navy blue t-shirt with an off-white canvas tote bag, oversized sunglasses, and ballet flats, paired with the aforementioned edgy Paloma wool pants with a mini skirt.

The skirt-and-trousers trend has been gaining popularity in fashion for a while now, appearing on runway shows from various brands, including Sandy Liang’s spring/summer 2024 and fall/winter 2024 collections and Fendi’s fall/winter 2023 collections. Paloma Wool, the Barcelona-based fashion label founded by Paloma Lanna in 2014, is also a fan of the hybrid bottoms, with the pants appearing in its spring/summer 2024 and fall/winter 2024 collections. Now that the style is in stores, celebrities like Gerber have jumped on the trend, making it a fast favorite.
