Acquiring players is always a risky situation, but especially with the transfer portal and players changing teams every year, the Oregon women’s basketball team has faced some unique challenges over the past few seasons, but the hiring of Jerryce Freeman as assistant coach and player acquisition coordinator should solve those challenges.
Freeman comes to Oregon after playing the same position at Utah the past few seasons.
“We are excited to add a talented individual like Jerice to our staff,” Graves said. “Her energy is contagious and a look at her recruiting and coaching resume shows she has had great success with two different Power 5 programs. She is a great fit for our team and community, and I can’t wait to get to work.”
According to Freeman, joining the Ducks is a dream come true.
