After 35 years of marriage, Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick have developed a language of their own.
The Hollywood lovebirds recently filmed themselves taking part in the social media craze Couple Dictionary, a game in which couples quiz each other about words they’ve invented during their relationship. They recorded themselves playing the game and shared it with their fans on Instagram.
“I’m going to give you some inspiration for words that you should use at least once a week in your marriage,” Kevin explains to Kayla in the video.
His first question wasn’t about words, but the actions they take when life goes wrong.
“What do we do when things get out of hand and it’s total disaster?” he asked his wife.
“Is that a sound?” she replied. Home Improvements An “ah” sound. Kevin repeated the sound, letting her know she was right.
Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick often find themselves “hairoids”
“That’s the phrase you use when you’re worried about losing your hair or having a bad hair day,” Kevin Bacon said as he advanced to round 2. “You get out of the shower, look in the mirror, and you feel like you have less of something than you had last week.”
Kira Sedgwick had no trouble guessing the answer.
“It’s a little song we call ‘hair anoid,'” she said. “Not paranoid, it’s ‘hair anoid,’ which means they’re paranoid that their hair doesn’t look good.”
Kira ran her hands through her long blonde hair and assured everyone that she and Kevin “were both struggling with this problem.” Kevin agreed.
Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedwick have been #couplegoals for decades, so it’s no surprise they landed some amazing, adorable results on Couple Dictionary. The two have always been united and put their marriage and their kids, daughter Sosie and son Kevin, first and foremost.
