As for the latest Olympic food deal? Here’s a hint: it involves ring-shaped sweets.
Krispy Kreme is hosting two events this week as part of its “Go for the Glaze” Olympics promotion. First, on Wednesday, July 31, customers can buy unlimited doughnuts (any kind) in stores for just $1, while supplies last.
And on Thursday, Aug. 1, members of the Krispy Kreme Rewards loyalty program will be able to purchase the Original Glazed doughnut for $1 in stores and on the Krispy Kreme website and app, while supplies last.
When you visit Krispy Kreme, you can treat yourself to the chain’s new Go USA doughnut collection, available in packs of 12 for a limited time.
There are four of each in the collection.
- Go USA Donuts: The original glazed doughnut is hand-dipped into white icing and decorated with stripes of red icing and blue and gold sprinkles.
- Chocolate Ice Glazed Sprinkle Donut: The original glazed doughnut is dipped in chocolate icing and topped with patriotic sprinkles.
- Original glazed donuts.
The Go USA Collection, available as single pieces or in three-packs, will be available in stores during the tournament, for pick-up at participating locations or for delivery through the Krispy Kreme app or website. Go USA doughnuts will also be sold in six-pack boxes and delivered fresh daily to select retailers, the company said.
Red Lobster closed:As more happened, we’ve mapped out all 99 locations.
Krispy Kreme’s Paris to Paris Donut Collection
Also still available is the “Passport to Paris” doughnut collection, which includes three new offerings inspired by Parisian desserts: the Crème Brûlée Doughnut, the Double Chocolate Eclair Doughnut and the Raspberry & Vanilla Crème Doughnut.
Members of the Krispy Kreme Rewards loyalty program will also be able to receive a free doughnut with every dollar spent on Tuesday, July 30.
