Live updates of processions heading to Pakistan’s capital Muzaffarabad from other cities on Sunday evening and night in response to a call by the Jammu and Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee to protest against high taxes in ruled Kashmir on May 14, 2024. “The clashes spilled over to Sentha Kotli, where demonstrators briefly detained a police officer and an assistant commissioner in protest of what they considered excessive force. Police said both were released unharmed. That’s what it means.
