A judge of the Supreme Court of Denmark, Justice Muhammad Ahsan, called on Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar and discussed judicial reforms as well as the structure and functioning of judicial systems.

State Minister for Law and Justice Barrister Aqeel Malik, Secretary Law Raja Naeem Akbar, and other senior officials were also present at the meeting held on Tuesday. An insightful discussion was held on the structure and functioning of the judicial systems in both Pakistan and Denmark.

Justice Ahsan briefed the participants on the workings of the Danish judiciary, while the law minister shared details about ongoing judicial reforms and initiatives in Pakistan aimed at improving efficiency and access to justice.

Both sides explored avenues for future collaboration. Tarar appreciated Justice Ahsan’s contributions to international judicial cooperation, describing him as an asset and commending his distinguished career in the field of law and justice.
