LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Players from the Las Vegas Raiders and Vegas Golden Knights will clash on the field in a charity softball game as the “Battle for Vegas,” hosted by Golden Knight Jack Eichel, returns to Las Vegas for the fifth consecutive year.
The event, which kicks off at Las Vegas Ballpark in Downtown Summerlin on Saturday, July 13, is a night of competition, friendship and charity. This year, the stakes are higher with both teams looking to win two games apiece and take the lead to claim top honors.
It’s not just about competing: Proceeds from the event and merchandise purchases support local charities. Since its inception in 2019, the annual softball showdown has raised more than $850,000 for local charities. This year’s Battle for Vegas will benefit the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation, with funds distributed to Nevada Best Buddies, a local charity that provides one-on-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development programs for people with and without disabilities.
FiveNumber The annual Battle for Vegas will take place on Saturday, July 13 at 8 p.m.
