Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Live: In the third phase of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections in the country, 11 states and union territories recorded 64.4 per cent voter turnout, with Assam in the northeast leading in the turnout. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah cast their votes in Ahmedabad on Tuesday as among the first voters of the day. After voting, Prime Minister Modi appealed to all voters to increase their turnout in this election and asked them to make voting more lively.
The third phase of parliamentary voting has concluded, deciding the fate of 283 of the total 543 seats in the lower house. The fourth phase of elections will be held on May 13th, with 10 states voting.
