Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Akhilesh, Yusuf, Mahua and More – Key Candidates in Phase 4

The fourth phase of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections will be held on May 13 in 96 seats across nine states and one union territory.

The polls will see a total of 25 seats in Andhra Pradesh, 17 in Telangana, 13 in Uttar Pradesh, 11 in Maharashtra, 8 in West Bengal and 8 in Madhya Pradesh. , voters cast their votes in five seats in Bihar and Jharkhand and four in Odisha. Residents of Jammu and Kashmir will be able to exercise their fundamental right to vote.

The Kannauj seat in Uttar Pradesh is in the spotlight as Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav will be contesting from the same seat. He is contesting against Subrat Pathak of the Bhartiya Janata Party.

Apart from Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal will also be the focus again at this stage as Trinamool Congress leader Mahua Moitra will be contesting from Krishnanagar constituency.

Below is a list of key players to watch in the fourth phase of the Sabah elections.

Shatrughan Sinha (actor/politician) Asansol (West Bengal), TMC
Madhavi Lata (actor turned politician) Hyderabad (Telangana), BJP

After this, voting will take place in the next stages on May 20th, May 25th and June 1st. The results of the 2024 Sabah elections will be announced on June 4th, three days after the last voting stage.
