Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Live: Union minister and Bharatiya Janata Party candidate for Gunarok Sabha seat Jyotiraditya Scindia said the Congress was on the verge of dying and was like a “termite” gnawing at itself.
“Congress is bankrupt in terms of ideology and human resources. Nobody wants to stay in Congress and there is no honor or respect for anyone in the party,” Scindia told PTI.
Meanwhile, the Election Commission of India has approved Aam Aadmi’s Lok Sabha election campaign song after the party revised it, PTI reported on Friday, citing sources.
AAP MLA Dilip Pandey, who wrote the lyrics and provided the voice for the song, also confirmed the song’s approval. Read complete coverage of Lok Sabha elections here.
The party had claimed on April 28 that the Election Commission had “banned” its campaign song “Jail ka jamab vote se denge”. However, the pollster said the song violated the commission’s guidelines and advertising rules and asked AAP to amend the song’s content.
Meanwhile, election activities by political parties are in full swing ahead of the third round of Lok Sabha elections on May 7. A total of 94 Lok Sabha seats from 12 states and union territories are scheduled to go to polls on May 7. All 26 Gujarat seats will be voted in one phase on this day. Votes will be counted on June 4th.
