Voter turnout was only slightly lower than in 2019, according to the latest voting results for the third phase of Lok Sabha elections released by the Election Commission of India (EC) on Wednesday night.
The revised estimated turnout as of 10pm on May 8th was 65.68%. This translates into a 1.65 percentage point drop in his turnout compared to the third phase voting of the 2019 Sabah state election. The poll committee said the numbers will be updated further.

As many as 102 seats were voted in the first phase of the election, with a final turnout of 66.14 percent, down just under four points from 70 percent in 2019.
