Delhi BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapur criticized Agarwal for not holding a nomination rally from the constituency, saying: “Jai Prakash Agarwal was the first candidate from Delhi from 1952 to 2024 who could not even hold a nomination rally from his constituency…Traditionally, he was a candidate not only in the country but also in the world.
