Social media is a perpetual meme generator. As you scroll, you’ll probably see images, videos, or references that you don’t understand. If you’ve been using social media lately, chances are you’ve been opening up your keyboard more than average. Because the latest trends encourage users to “look” between certain letters on the keyboard. These posts start with extravagant details and then tell you to look between the H and L keys (corresponding to the letters J and K, simply put). Now, people have taken advantage of this trend to make fun of others, including this woman’s boss.
So what did this lady’s boss do? He announced in a text message to his staff that everyone was being evaluated. Then, in the next message, her boss told her to look between the letters H and L. Of course, this is JK. Or maybe it’s a joke. The woman shared a screenshot of the message on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
The post’s caption read, “Boss needs to hold back.”
The post received more than 3 million views on the microblogging site.
Users in the comments section were outraged by the woman’s plight.

What’s up with this meme? Why is everyone jumping on it?
It all started in May 2021 on 4Chan, a platform where people post anonymous photos and comments. A meme with the caption “Bored looking between the t and o on the keys” was shared online. Yes, the misspelling was intentional The meme showed a K-On figure.
Now, if you look between the t and o on your keyboard, you’ll see y, u, and i. This represents Yui, a character from the anime series about a high school girl who joins a band.
But memes in the workplace are not uncommon. Last year, many people began implementing “Bare Mondays” to prevent burnout, wore “coffee badges” to circumvent return-to-office policies, and were fired for promotions or raises at their current workplaces. He later began “furious applications” for new roles.
Meanwhile, Gopi Bahu memes took the Indian online space by storm last year. One of his X users had previously shared a screenshot of his WhatsApp chat with his boss and wrote, “Monday just got worse.” My boss started the conversation by asking why I didn’t log in sooner. Rather than following conventional logic, he asked questions such as: Easy approach.
Take a look at his response here.
