Louisiana Tech University students recently elected 14 students to represent the student body on the 2024 Homecoming Court.
Student organizations on campus nominate students to the court. These candidates will participate in an interview process, and the student body will vote on candidates to represent the Louisiana Tech community during Homecoming Week festivities, including pep rallies and parades on November 8 and 9 .
The members of the court are:
- Carter Boone, Kilgore, Texas, third-year electrical engineering student
- Emily Carr, Shreveport, biology senior
- Camille Coco, Marksville, industrial engineering senior
- Dixie Corey, Oak Grove, English junior
- Laura Katherine Dupuy, West Monroe, Marketing Senior
- Walker Forsythe, Lake Charles, third-year finance student.
- Kate Hamilton, White House, Texas, speech pathology graduate student
- Grace Harrington, Baton Rouge, psychology senior
- Oren Lutz, Pineville, third year biology, minor in music, certificate in medical physics.
- Kel Manuel, Newellton, Business Administration Senior
- Holden Mittendorf, Baton Rouge, computer information systems senior
- Landon Morreale, Beaumont, Texas, electrical engineering third year student
- Benjamin Ponder, Shreveport, Finance Sr.
- Sammy Wilson, Magnolia, AR, third-year finance student
Homecoming royalty will be crowned at halftime of the Homecoming football game against the Jacksonville State Gamecocks. The match begins on Saturday, November 9th at 3:30pm at Joe Ilett Stadium. For a complete list of Homecoming events, visit www.LATech.edu/Homecoming.
