Barmer district election officials have suspended four members of the polling team who cast their votes at polling stations on April 26 during the second phase of the Sabah elections.

The re-poll held on Wednesday at a polling station in Dudhwa Khurd, Barmer Lok Sabha constituency in Rajasthan, recorded a turnout of over 85 per cent.
The exercise was ordered by the Election Commission following complaints of breach of confidentiality after videos showing fake votes and voters being denied the right to vote were leaked on social media.

Officials said the overall turnout recorded was 85.70.
The Barmer district election officer has suspended four members of the polling team that conducted voting at polling stations on April 26 during the second phase of the Sabah state election.
Chief Electoral Officer Praveen Gupta said the re-polling was held from 7am to 5pm at polling booth number 50 of Government Higher Secondary School, Dudhwa Kurd booth in Kyauktan parliamentary constituency.
There were 1,294 voters and 1,109 people cast their votes.
The department said it had made all preparations for the re-poll as directed by the Election Commission and webcasting was done as well.
Earlier, re-polls were held on May 2 at polling stations in Ajmer Lok Sabha constituency. There are 25 Lok Sabha seats in Rajasthan. Of these, 12 seats in the first stage were voted on April 19th, and 13 seats in the second stage were voted on April 26th.
