Five years after Momin Saqib went viral online for yelling “Maaro mujhe Maaro” after Pakistan’s loss to India in the 2019 World Cup, another fan’s heartbreaking cry is now trending on social media. The girl’s emotional outburst after Pakistan’s five-run defeat to the USA in the T20 World Cup shows she is clearly affected by the result.
Speaking to a media channel, the girl seemed totally devastated, broken and dejected after watching Pakistan, the 2009 T20 World Cup winners, struggle for 60 strong seconds in their defeat to the USA. The fan vented her frustration, blaming the players and accusing the team of breaking the hearts of a million Pakistani fans.
“What are you thinking? What are you saying, what are you saying? When it’s all over, we’re going to break up. Chaknachoor will be. Give it to you, give it to you. Has Hamsa’s performance improved thanks to your support? Let’s take a peek at the back of the card from now on. It would be a waste to leave it at that. At least, I don’t know what will happen when the child is born, because we’ve been together since my son was born. When he logs on, nothing happens. Visit Jazburton, visit Elesa So. The story of the two of you began today. It’s not possible. Main tak gaye hoon Pakistan team se“
This translates to: “Why do they ask us to show a big heart? We only have one heart. How many more times are they going to shatter it? They’ve shattered it so many times that it’s over. It’s in pieces. They’re winning less and losing more. We’re always cheering for them, but when are they going to perform well? Honestly, I think they’re just here to roam the country. They don’t care about our feelings, our emotions at all. Nothing. I don’t get it. I’m sick of this Pakistan team.”

No details are yet available about the fan, but judging by her outpouring of emotion, this isn’t the first time she’s encountered Pakistan’s disappointment. And honestly, can you blame her? This is the third shocker Pakistan has experienced in three ICC tournaments. In the 2022 T20 World Cup, Pakistan lost to Zimbabwe. In the 2023 World Cup, they lost to Afghanistan. And now this. Pakistan seems to have a penchant for World Cup upsets, dating back to their loss to Bangladesh in the 1999 World Cup. Eight years later, Pakistan finished second behind Ireland.
The fan wasn’t done yet.
The fan continued: “My team and organization are great. Now I want to explain how to print the AAP logo. Are you confused as to what to do? Meri is literally right. The AAP logo is not yet published.” is translated as:
“I beg of the team and the organisation, we keep screaming, why don’t you listen? How long will this go on for? I’m so sick of it. They are treating this whole thing as a joke.”
