At the state championship meet, the Matadors’ sophomore continued to show his strength as he won the sprints, winning the 100 meters in 10.33 seconds and tying the section record in the 200 meters with ease in a time of 20.55 seconds.

The University of Southern California-bound senior scored five goals to lead Torrey Pines to a 12-9 comeback win over Coronado to win the Open Division title. Stewart has scored an astounding 71 goals this season.
