Durham – Duke University Senior Andrew McAdory He is one of 23 men’s lacrosse players invited to the USA Six Team training camp at USA Lacrosse Association headquarters as the organization begins preparations for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
The camp will run from June 10-12, with a free open session on Tuesday, June 11, from 4 p.m.
A versatile offensive player, McAdory led Duke’s No. 1 midfield unit with 28 goals and nine assists for 37 total points last season, earning him first-team USILA All-America honors. In 2024, he scored at least one point in 18 of 19 games and scored at least one goal in 16 of those games.
Returning to the midfield after a season on the offensive end, McAdory has not slowed down this year, scoring multiple goals in eight games and finishing with six goals and one assist for seven points in the ACC. He earned All-ACC honors for the first time as a junior. The St. Anthony native has started all 55 games for his career thus far, scoring 87 goals and 50 assists for 137 points.
Yale University Men’s Lacrosse Head Coach Andy Shea will return to his second stint with the U.S. Men’s Six program. Shea led the U.S. Six team to a silver medal at the World Games 2022 in Birmingham, Alabama. Assisting Shea will be Tony Resch, a former champion player and coach of the U.S. team who also has extensive professional lacrosse experience.
This will be the only training camp for the six-man team before the camp immediately preceding the inaugural USA Lacrosse Experience in Indianapolis on Oct. 11-12, 2024. The U.S. six-man team will compete against international competition during that event.
