Jackson Middle School Cross Country Summer Run

The Jackson Middle School Cross Country Summer Meet will be held every Monday and Wednesday from 1-2:30pm starting this Monday. Please meet in the parking lot near the football field. All boys and girls in grades 6-8 are welcome to participate.

Wort Volleyball Golf Scramble

The Wirt County High School volleyball team will host the Scramble on Saturday, July 27th at Mingo Bottom Golf Club.

Entry is $200 per group of four, with first and second place prizes.

Lunch and snacks will be provided. Registration is at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. There are two mulligans per player and tea busters are $10.

There will also be a 50-50 raffle (15 tickets for $10 or 50 tickets for $20).

Tiger Golf Scramble

Marietta High School will host the Tiger Golf Scramble on Saturday, July 13 at Marietta Country Club.

Hamilton Middle School Tennis Practice

The Hamilton Middle School tennis team will be practicing on the tennis courts at City Park later this month.

Flex day practices will be held on July 22, 23 and 25 from 3:30-5:30pm. Regular practice will be held on July 29 from 3:30-5:30pm.

Participants should bring their WVSSAC physical exam form (if not already on file with your school), a racket, and water. Tennis shoes must be worn. Tennis balls will be provided. In the event of rain, practice will take place in the school’s mini gym and entry will be through the back door.
