Voight’s friend, Claudia MichelSaid Independent The Miss USA winner reportedly received an “inappropriate approach” from a driver before her abrupt resignation. According to the report, Voight was riding in the back seat of a car during a Christmas parade in Sarasota, Florida, when the driver, described as an older man, aggressively made advances on her, saying he wanted a relationship with her.

“He was saying he was older and had more money and stuff like that,” Michelle alleged. “She literally couldn’t get away with it. What was she going to do, get out of her car and walk away in the middle of a parade? She was stuck.”

Voight and Srivastava’s resignation comes after Miss USA’s social media manager Claudia MichelOf her decision to step down on May 3, a source said: New York Post The three women decided to quit together and strategically timed their departures amid a reported “toxic work environment.”

“The decision was not easy. Noelia and UmaSofia are very dedicated people who have worked incredibly hard for the pageant. The decision was not made lightly. They have all decided to do this together,” the source said. “They are scared because of the organization to speak out any more at this time. They do not want this to have a lasting negative impact on their futures.”

The source added that the harassment and bullying got so bad that Srivastava’s parents banned Rose from speaking to their daughter.

“All communication had to go through her parents. Her parents met weekly with the Miss Universe organization to try and change the situation for Miss USA but nothing changed. Nothing changed,” the source claimed.

A spokesperson for the Miss USA organization previously said in a statement, “The titleholder’s health is our top priority and we understand that she needs to prioritize herself at this time.” CNN Following Voight’s resignation.
