MSIG USA announced that it is strengthening its executive leadership team with new appointments aimed at strengthening the company’s dedication to the U.S. market, its expansion, and innovation.

Peter McKenna, CEO of MSIG USA, said: “These appointments, coupled with the organizational changes we announced earlier this year, will strengthen MSIG USA’s commitment to the U.S. market with increased resources dedicated to helping U.S.-based multinationals navigate the most challenging circumstances. It highlights the important efforts of “Complex Risks”.

“MSIG USA will continue to leverage our long-standing tradition of building lasting partnerships with our clients as we embark on purposeful growth in the region.”

The new management team includes Brian Bottke, who has been named chief underwriting officer. He will oversee the company’s comprehensive underwriting strategy.

Botkin brings deep underwriting experience, having spent more than 30 years at AIG, most recently as chief underwriting officer of the International Financial Lines division, where he led the profitable growth of the global financial lines business.

Fitzpatrick has extensive experience leading sales teams, most recently serving as field leader for the Midwest region at CNA Insurance. He also worked for AIG for his 33 years, most recently he served as President of the Midwest Zone of AIG’s North American General Insurance business.

Tracey Estes has also joined the team as our new Head of Property & Casualty Products, leading the expansion of our Property & Casualty portfolio with innovative solutions to grow this sector of business.

Estes has extensive experience in the property/casualty insurance field, most recently serving as head of large property/casualty insurance at Arch Insurance, where he grew the company’s primary, excess, and international property portfolios over the past 10 years.

Prior to joining Arch, he led the multinational disaster portfolio at AIG, implementing disaster programs for Fortune 500 clients.

As Director of Product Innovation, Jason Taylor will lead the development of innovative products such as cyber insurance and property/casualty insurance.

Prior to joining MSIG, he spent nine years at Argo Group, where he was responsible for excess property and casualty insurance, increasing the portfolio’s premiums while also increasing profitability across the business. Prior to joining Argo, Taylor spent three years as an actuary at QBE North America.
