Maharashtra Elections 2024 Live Updates: The Maharashtra Assembly polls to elect 288 Lok Sabha members will be held on November 20 and counting of votes will take place on November 23.
Pawar said the campaign will be spearheaded by him, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray.
Pawar said he wished Diwali greetings to several reporters at his headquarters in Baramati in Pune district and wished the people of the state prosperity and happiness.
Asked about friendly fights between MVA partners NCP (SP), Congress and Sena (UBT) in some constituencies, Pawar said that there are seats where two MVA candidates have filed their nominations. said it would only have 10 to 12 seats.
“We are confident that we will find a solution and resolve the issue within the next few days,” he said.
The veteran leader said the MVA provides a “program” (Common Minimum Program) that will garner support from the state’s residents. Pawar said the poll campaign will be launched in the presence of himself, Rahul Gandhi and Uddhav Thackeray.
