Social media users are constantly coming across a new trend in reel life. After months of enjoying dancing to songs from films like “Soseki” from Pushpa 2, “Illuminati” from Aavesham and Gulabi Saadi, they have joined a new Instagram trend. They have entered the field to try something new – lip-syncing instead of dancing. Now, people are creating reels based on popular lines that are allegedly originated by Rajasthan-based influencer Anju Yadav.
This new Instagram trend involves lip-syncing Hindi phrases and is inspired by popular phrases related to ignoring trash talk and useful conversations. The video talks about opening up and breaking the silence when something is directed at you.
He is heard saying on the video: “At first I was listening with one ear and out the other and people kept shouting at me. Now I’m listening with both ears and opening my mouth to respond.”
Many videos featuring these trending phrases feature people lip-syncing with killer expressions, and there are thousands of videos on Instagram where users have jumped on the trend and recreated these phrases in their own unique style.
Korean singer Aora and actress Gauahar Khan join Reel Trend
Like many other netizens, Korean singer Aora also created a reel on this theme. In the reel, he introduces himself as a married Punjabi aunty (Punjabi ajumma). He wore a ghoonghat-like shawl and lip-synced to the catchphrase in his recent Instagram reel. His video is currently trending on the internet, with 1.4 million views as of July 8.
Actress Gauahar Khan also recreated the footage and shared it on Instagram, where she agreed and called it a “true story.”
