Paul Judah starts on vault

Men’s Street: Houston and Eaton make second big jumps

One-hit wonder: Stephen Nedorosic’s riding technique could be key
In Paris, Steven Nedorosik will perform on just one piece of gymnastics equipment: the pommel horse, a difficult event and a classic weakness for the U.S. men’s gymnastics team that they hope to overcome in their bid to win their first medal since 2008.
The Peacock broadcast showed a countdown until Nedorosic could enter the competition: 2 hours and 30 minutes remaining.
He tries to stay focused and warm until that moment comes.
After the Olympic Trials in June, Nedorosic was confident of winning her individual event and told reporters, “I had a good feeling that I was going to be selected for the team.” This year will be Nedorosic’s first Olympic Games.
There is a risk in having an athlete who can only compete in one of the six events, but Nedorosic is the world champion on the pommel horse and could be a springboard for the men’s team to win a coveted team medal.
