Guided by our global network of research and development chefs, Nestlé leverages the capabilities of our culinary artisans to deliver delicious, nutritious, trend-based innovations.

Embedded in a global research and development network, our chefs work closely with nutritionists and product developers to create new recipes, prototypes and innovative food and beverages. Together they explore new flavors and flavors, incorporating a variety of local and traditional ingredients used in otherworldly cuisine.

Through collaboration with external chefs, leading hospitality schools and culinary students, our chefs ensure that our products are inspired by the latest trends in gastronomy. For example, a joint program between Nestlé and the École Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL Group) helps translate scientific discoveries into prototypes and new recipes for research and development projects.

Sheldon Fernandes, Head of Global R&D Chef, Nestlé, said: “The expertise of our chefs is an essential element in developing our great flavor innovations. Our ability to capitalize on trends helps us bring new flavors that inspire.” Our research and development experts and product developers play a critical role in translating scientific and culinary expertise into delicious, nutritious and affordable food. ”

To bring authentic Asian cuisine to consumers in a delicious and convenient way, Nestlé collaborated with celebrity chef Ming Tsai to launch Ming’s Frozen Foods in the United States. We offer 7 delicious dishes that are easy to make and enjoy at home. Nestlé R&D and Nestlé US chefs and food innovation experts worked closely with Chef Ming to create dishes with unique tastes and flavors, including spicy dan dan noodles coated in Sichuan-style red sauce. We’ve also created dishes that capture the growing air fryer trend, such as crispy chicken and broccoli with a savory ginger-garlic sauce.

“Mings was created in collaboration with Nestlé chefs and culinary experts to bring bold, authentic Asian flavors to consumers anytime, anywhere,” said Chef Ming Tsai. “Through culinary innovation, Ming’s blends cooking techniques and ingredients from both Eastern and Western cultures to create convenient and delicious meals that everyone can enjoy.”

Nestlé is also offering bold new flavors with the launch of delicious frozen Mexican food. All dishes are made with our signature Tapatio Hot Sauce for delicious lunches and dinners that are easy to prepare. The company’s culinary experts worked with the Tapatio family to develop classic dishes like beef and chicken enchiladas, as well as new creations like delicious chicken bowls and steak bowls.

In Europe, Nestlé recently launched the Maggi Magic Asia series of sauces, offering consumers a variety of Asian flavors. Nestlé chefs and experts in Germany and Singapore have leveraged their knowledge of local cuisines and cooking methods to create flavorful recipes that allow consumers to easily prepare popular Asian dishes in their kitchens without the need for a full spice cabinet. I made the sauce. With creative dishes such as tikka masala, teriyaki, and sweet and sour 10-minute sauce, consumers can simply add their favorite meats and vegetables to enjoy delicious Asian dishes.

Nestlé’s Research and Development Chefs include a diverse group of more than 35 chefs from 13 countries. With extensive creative experience working in some of the world’s top restaurants, he is passionate about advancing in-house culinary technology and making diverse cuisines more accessible to consumers.
