Voight, 24, later saw the post and thanked Sanchez for his encouragement in his decision.

For Voight, her mental health played a role in her decision to step away from her pageant role.
“I know this may come as a huge shock to many,” she shared on Instagram when announcing her resignation. “Never put your physical or mental health at risk. Our health is our wealth. Thank you so much for your continued and unwavering support. Time to write the next chapter. I hope you will see what happens next.”
In a separate post, the Miss USA organization thanked Voight for her contributions. They also gave her a shout-out to her next chapter.
“We respect and support Noelia’s decision to step down from her role,” the organization said in a statement on Instagram. Our title holder’s well-being is her top priority and we understand that she needs to prioritize herself at this time. We are currently evaluating a transition plan for her successor and will soon announce the new Miss USA crown. ”
