It’s no secret that a harsh work environment has a negative impact on talent and productivity, and a positive work environment not only helps both talent and productivity, but also customer relationships and the bottom line.
Are you lucky enough to work in a good place? Or do you know of a good place to work?
In reality, there is very little luck involved. All that is required is hard work, commitment, and mutual trust. The Oklahoman wants to recognize the top workplaces in our state. Help us recognize business leaders and organizations that excel in both their work and their workforce. Anyone can nominate a company: business leaders, employees, or even customers.
Companies have to change to survive, especially in the age of artificial intelligence and real potential tensions between different people. But not every company has a culture that stands out, much less one that they can brag about.
Top Workplaces highlights some of the best things happening in Oklahoma’s business world, and this is the 12th year we’ve run this program at The Oklahoman.

Which companies stand out? Which companies are the best places to work? Which companies demonstrate bold leadership?
If you know of an Oklahoma company that fits this description, consider nominating it for our annual Top Workplaces awards. If you work for a great company, let us know. Tell us why it’s great. Let us help you share your story with others.

The award is open to Oklahoma organizations with 35 or more employees. They can be public, private, nonprofit or government organizations. The deadline for nominations is July 12. The Oklahoman will feature the winners in December. To nominate an employer or learn more about the awards, visit www.oklahoman.com/nominate or call 405-708-6151. There is no cost to participate.
To be recognized as a Top Workplace in Oklahoma, employees rate their workplace by completing a short, 24-question survey that takes about five minutes to complete.
The Oklahoman has partnered with Philadelphia-based Energage, an employee research and culture technology company, to determine Oklahoma’s top workplaces based solely on employee survey feedback.
Energage conducts its Top Workplaces research for media in 65 markets across the country, surveying more than 2 million employees at more than 8,000 organizations over the past year.
“The Top Workplaces awards celebrate good news,” said Eric Rubino, CEO of Energage. “They demonstrate the importance of a people-first workplace experience and remind us that employees are the heart of a thriving organization.”
There are plenty of workplaces out there doing great work in the face of big challenges. Tell us about them and help us highlight the places that deserve recognition as Top Places to Work.
