Odds to win NFC East in 2024 (Crazy trend points to Eagles winning the division)

The Philadelphia Eagles looked like they would easily win the NFC East title again last season, but a 1-5 record in their final six games led to them losing the title to the Dallas Cowboys late in the season.

Will the Cowboys be able to repeat as champions in 2024, or will the Eagles bounce back and reclaim the crown?

Let’s see what the oddsmakers think.

Via Odds FanDuel Sportsbook

The NFC East is likely to play out similarly to last season, with the Commanders and Giants expected to be underdogs and a showdown between the Eagles and Cowboys likely to ensue.

One thing to note heading into this season is that no team in the NFC East has won back-to-back titles since the Eagles did so in 2003 and 2004. If this trend continues this season, there’s a good chance the Eagles can win the division again after losing to the Cowboys at the end of last season.

Whether bettors are following the trend and betting on the Eagles or simply believe they are the better team, wagers have been pouring in on Philadelphia over the past month and the odds are tilted in their favor.

The Eagles are hoping to put the bitter taste of last season’s collapse behind them. They have new coordinators at both the defensive and defensive end and used this offseason to revamp their roster. They signed Saquon Barkley to give their offensive line a powerful weapon at running back and added C.J. Gardner-Johnson, Devin White and the top two draft picks to the secondary to further bolster their defense.

Despite not adding many players this offseason, the Cowboys will still be a team to be reckoned with in 2024. The NFC East race is expected to once again come down to the final few weeks.
