June 3, 2024, Aalst, Belgium – Ontex Group NV [EURONEXT: ONTEX]Ontex, a leading international developer and manufacturer of care products and solutions, has announced that it has completed the sale of its Pakistan operations to ASAIA Holding FZ. The transaction includes Ontex’s factories and operations in Pakistan.
Ontex CEO Gustavo Calvo Paz said:I “We are pleased to have completed this sale and strengthened our focus on our core retail brands and the healthcare market. I would like to thank our team in Pakistan for their contributions to our business and wish them all the best as they embark on this new chapter together.. “
The sale follows the sale of its Mexican operations in February 2023 and its Algerian operations in April 2024. The remaining operations for which Ontex is pursuing strategic options are Brazil and Turkey.
