In the latest incident in Pakistan, 14 people belonging to the Baloch Yaqjeti Committee were injured while they were taking part in a rally in Gwadar on Saturday.
According to Pakistani media outlet Dawn, they were attacked in Mustang, with the injured claiming that security forces had opened fire on them, sparking a blame game.
Issuing a press note, Kalat Deputy Governor Shayak Baloch said the BYC convoy was attacked at Revis checkpoint near Mustang.
Behbarg Baloch, leader of the Baloch Yakjeti Committee, said police officers had opened fire on the convoy as it was heading towards the Quetta-Karachi highway.
The Baloch Yakjeti Committee accused the provincial army and police of deliberately attacking a convoy heading towards Baloch Raj Machi, by firing directly at peaceful people.

The leaders further alleged that they were not allowed to go to Mastung and that security forces attacked them with batons and fired tear gas.
However, Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind denied the allegations of dismissal.
“No such orders have been issued by Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti or the provincial government. We are still open to negotiations. As the Chief Minister said in his policy statement in the Assembly, peaceful protest is the right of the people and the right of the administration to choose the venue under the law. BYC only wants to recognise its own right and has no intention of recognising the right of the administration,” he said.

Meanwhile, the government has already implemented Article 144 in Quetta on Saturday, which bans various rallies, processions and gatherings, and therefore all roads leading to the “red zone” will be sealed off, Dawn reported.
