TEHRAN – Pakistan’s ambassador to Tehran said in an interview with Tehran Times that “Pakistan’s flag will be flown at half-mast” as a sign of solidarity with the Iranian state.
“I am deeply saddened by the martyrdom of Honorable President Raisi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and their entourage. Foreign Minister Amir Abdullahian was an exemplary human being. I am grateful for his grace, humility, and thoughtfulness. I was deeply impressed by his foresight and foresight,” said Mohammad Mudassir Tipu following the tragic death of the Iranian President and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
When asked about his experience working with Iran’s foreign minister, the Pakistani ambassador said: “Foreign Minister Amir Abdullahian was very kind to me. I believe he was one of the most important politicians in the world. He brought deep insight and strategic clarity to geopolitical issues. and pursued Iran’s interests with remarkable dedication.”
Regarding Martyr Amir Abdullahian’s contribution in strengthening ties with Pakistan, he said, “Foreign Minister Amir Abdullahian was deeply committed to Pakistan and sought to strengthen Pakistan-Iran relations. He visited Pakistan at the end of January to build trust and confidence in the United States. In April, he returned to Pakistan with Honorable President Raisi, where he held excellent talks with our leaders, which will be important in strengthening our ties. His contributions will be remembered for generations.”
Commenting on the tragic death of Iranian Foreign Minister, he said, “There is widespread mourning in Pakistan. People feel a personal loss and express their heartfelt condolences. It held a special place in the hearts of the people of Pakistan. Today, in solidarity with the people of Iran at this critical and tragic moment in the country’s history, the national flag of Pakistan is held in high esteem. The flag will be flown at half-mast.”
